Beautiful Grace Designs Working on a website

Building Connections

You’re all about building real, authentic connections with people so that you can help them on a journey to finding grace. There are so many ways that you do that every day! You have a website and maybe you have an email or newsletter you send out regularly. Maybe you even post on social media. But for some reason your site is not working for you. People aren’t finding you or connecting with you. Maybe your site even has some issues and won’t work on mobile devices or it looks really wonky on certain devices! You would probably love for someone to take over some of the updating and posting and general maintenance of your site for you, but no one in your organization knows how or it ends up at the bottom of the priority list.

I GET WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM

I’ve been there

I worked as a Children’s Director both full-time and part-time for 10 years before starting Beautiful Grace Designs. There were many times that people called because they couldn’t find something on our website, or the site wasn’t working on their phone, or they couldn’t find an event. It was so frustrating because we were constantly sending out emails, updating our social media and putting things on the website!

It felt like we were in a battle with technology instead of technology working for usAfter my husband and I were called to start pursuing missionary credentials to go overseas, I started staying home with our three young kiddos. I loved staying home with them, homeschooling and teaching them about the Lord, but I missed ministry.

I missed the excitement of being a part of The Great Commission. I missed partnering with other people to further the Gospel. So the idea of Beautiful Grace Designs was born!

I am on a mission to help you have a communication strategy that not only works behind the scenes to help you instead of give you headaches, but also so that we can achieve the ultimate mission – telling people about God’s beautiful grace.

I’m here to help you with your website and other communications so that you can take it off your plate and do more of the heart-pounding, on-fire, fist-pumping stuff!

I want to partner with you and help you reach your community with God’s message of hope and grace!

Why work with me?

I believe that web design for churches and small businesses that are kingdom-minded is much different then corporate or secular web design. There are certain aspects that stay the same, for sure! But at the root, we have a purpose and drive that is more powerful and long-standing then “just making a profit.”

My 10 years of ministry experience puts me in a unique position to know what you need and what your challenges are. While my technical and design expertise helps create the experience that people need to be drawn to your church or business to learn more.

The end goal is all about helping you be successful at telling your story so that people will want to know what you have and why you’re different. We do that best by creating a meaningful and memorable connection strategy to give you more freedom and peace of mind about your communications.

Why Beautiful Grace?

If you are searching for a web designer and you are not from a church and you’re wondering what I’m talking about with “grace” and how web design is different for churches and small businesses that are on a “mission”, let me tell you more about why I chose this name for my business. I chose the name Beautiful Grace Designs because of the Amazing, Wonderful, Beautiful Grace of Jesus Christ. Grace is the undeserved favor of God that He showed us. He showed us grace by sending His Son to earth as a helpless baby to grow up here on earth (the world He created) and the world didn’t even recognize who He was. When He was 30 years old, He started His ministry and did so many miracles that the Bible doesn’t even record them all.

He made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, the sick were healed, and the dead raised to life!! He was put to death on a cross because the religious leaders of that time refused to see who He truly was and wanted to get rid of Him. But He didn’t stay dead! He conquered death itself when He came back to life showing that He has power over death! He gives us eternal life if we believe in Jesus and turn our lives over to Him committing to live differently then we did before. If you found this site and this is the first time you’re hearing this, this was not an accident. God meant for you to find this and He loves you.

If this is the first time you are hearing this and you have questions or would like to talk about this, please contact me! I would love to talk with you!

WHAT’S WITH THE OLIVES?

I included olives and olive branches in my logo because olives and olive oil are talked about a LOT in Scripture. The Garden of Gethsemane is where Jesus prayed before he was taken to trial and crucified was a garden of olive trees. Gethsemane actually means “olive press” in Hebrew and is at the foot of the Mount of Olives. Jesus’s tomb was located in the Garden and it is still a burial location today.

Olive Oil was used to anoint kings and the sick and as fuel for lamps and olive trees were seen as very valuable. In David’s day there were guards and protectors for the olive groves. (1 Chron. 9:29; 27:28)

In order for the Olive tree to be truly fruitful, it needed to be grafted onto another shrub. Paul talks about Gentiles being adopted into the family of God and grafted like olive branches (Romans 11:16-24).

Zechariah asks an angel, “What are these two olive trees?” and the angel answered, “Do you not know what these are?”… “These are the two anointed ones who stand before the Lord of the whole earth” (Zech 4:13-14) This is the same prophecy that John talks of in Revelation 11:4 of the two witnesses who are filled with the Holy Spirit.

I want the Holy Spirit to guide and direct everything I do and He is the reason for everything, so the olive branch is a big part of my branding!
